ITT IEEE Student Branch Visited Comcast

ITT Student Branch at Comcast Head Office in SpokaneOn August 26, 2010 the ITT IEEE Student Branch along with IEEE members visited the Comcast Head Office in Spokane. It was a quite a learning experience! The Comcast staff not only prepared an outstanding presentation and a fascinating tour, food and gifts – they also made us feel welcomed.

We had great discussions about technologies and various human aspects of the work that service providers do on a daily basis.  It is possible that some of our students will be working for a service provider once they graduate from school. Now we all know now what it takes to deliver Internet/Video/Voice to our homes !
